In 2010, to celebrate their 30th anniversary year, Ian built a barn at Pulhams Mill constructed in green oak. The timber came from trees grown slowly on stony ground near the river Exe valley making strong and dense timber. The beams were cut on site in the woods. The green Oak was made into frames. The joints cut in the traditional way making trusses, curved wind braces and joists all pegged together by Ian and his team of craftsmen. The insulation is of sheep's wool sourced locally. The first floor is glazed for natural light and stunning views. Up to date info’ will be published shortly on the exciting and varied courses and events to come!
Our 3 en suite bedroomed riverside cottage provides accommodation and we can also arrange bed & breakfast in the village for groups.
